A Honeymoon to Remember

For most people (hopefully!) the honeymoon will be a one - in - a - lifetime  experience. What to wear becomes an important issue, so this means  -  shopping! This needs to be done well in advance so that you remember the fun of it all, instead of rushing around.

Sizzling Silk

If you have cotton pyjamas, leave them at home.  Romance calls for sexy lingerie - something extra-special for the wedding night, and flattering night wear for other nights. Fabrics like silk, satin or velvet feel good to wear as well as touch -  remember, you're only as sexy as you feel! For dinner and dance time, don't forget to pack a  jacket for him and a little black dress for you to maintain that special honeymoon feeling.

Daytime wear should include casual and comfortable clothes. Sundresses, shorts, t-shirts, spaghetti straps, sandals and cute swim wear are not only nice to look at, they're also easy to carry. Knit fabrics are ideal because they don't wrinkle easily.

Consider a Cruise

Malaysian couples are nothing if not adventurous. Those who want something different may consider a cruise around the region, or maybe even to other continents. But - be warned that the dinner dress code on cruise ships can be formal  (no shorts, jeans, t - shirts, slippers) so bring some elegant evening wear. Daytime attire is usually casual and brief,  unless your ship takes you to cooler climates. In that case, bring along sweaters and long pants.

Don't Forget the Suntan Oil

Draw up a list of the toiletries  you'll need so that you don't waste precious time on your honeymoon going shopping for them. These include suntan lotion, plenty of film, shampoo, moisturisers, lip balm, make - up, brushes and vitamins. If you're traveling abroad, don't bother with hairdryers or other electric gadgets unless you have the  adapters. Finally, don't forget antacids, aspirin, antiseptic and Band-Aids - we hope you won't need them, but you never know!
