1. Filling of Forms

1.1	Only one copies of Borang 'JPN.KCO2' to be fill, please attached 2 copies of recent passport size colour photo for each applicant. (No Instant Photograph) .
1.2	Particulars in (A) Maklumat Peribadi Lelaki & (B) Maklumat Peribadi Perempuan in No.2, 3, 4, 14, 22, 23, 24, & 34 fill by foreigner.
1.3	Please fill in IC’s address and one of the applicant’c IC address must be in Selangor.
1.4	If age above 40, need to do Statutary Declaration to state that he or she is single.
1.5	If age under 21, father or guardian need to sign the Borang JPN.KCO1B in front of Assistant Registrars of Marriages.
1.6	For those female applicant age between 16 to 18, need to obtained approval on Borang 'JPN.KC01D'. Minimum age for male is 18 & above.
1.7	Applicant without religion will be not be process.
1.8	The said Assistant Registrar Of Marriages is unable to register for those who had registered oversea or had carried out traditional wedding before 1/3/1982 or is a muslim.
1.9	For those who had carried out their traditional wedding and although didn't do their legal marriage registration and had separated after 1/3/1982 and having children or not; and now plan to do the legal marriage registration with his or her new fiancee need to do Statutary Declaration.
1.10	We can’t directly process foreigner’s application for marriage registration as they have to register with the government department but if any enquiries pertaining this matter, we have experienced person to assist them on documentation and application procedures.

2. Taking of Oath

2.1	After filled in the forms, the couple have to take oath in front of Commissioner For Oath on Page 4 (D.2) Please bring along Borang 'JPN.KCO2' and your original IC.

3. Return Forms & Make Appointment

3.1	Submit Borang 'JPN.KCO2' and Borang 'T' All documents should be kept clean and tidy.
3.2	Attached 2 photostat copies of IC and Birth Certificate of each applicant. (2x2)
3.3	Attached 2 photostat copies of two witness's IC each.
3.4	For divorcee, please attach 2 copies of Pengesahan Penceraian/Pembatalan Perkahwinan issued by JPN. For widow/widower, please attach 2 copies of Death Certificate.
3.5	All IC (front & back) to be photostat on same page in A4 paper. Birth Certificate and others supporting documents must photostat in A4 paper. (Photostated documents if not in A4 paper, upside down, by fax or been cancelled by lines or writing will be rejected).
3.6	Simply changing of appointment date, time and witness is not encourage. A fee will be imposed on changing of appointment date less than 48 hours.
3.7	Appointment shall be made after received the forms 10 days ahead. If less than 10 days, additional fee will be charged.

4. On the Registration Day

4.1	Be punctual & Bring along all the original documents.
4.2	Attire should be neat, no T-shirt, jean, slipper, short or singlet.

4.4	Marriage certificate will be issued once registration ceremony is completed
